YiQi Culture Media is beQ Entertainment's company on the ground in Foshan, Guangdong. We create original IP and produce it in China, we run a controlled art toy and collectible production path, and we build brand identities, holding the whole relationship together when it matters most.

01 The name

"YiQi": a rare kind of creativity.

Registered in Chinese as 意奇, characters that evoke a rare, extraordinary idea, and pronounced almost exactly like 一起, "together."

The name carries both: the spirit of working alongside you, and the promise of an idea out of the ordinary. Not a supplier at arm's length, not a consultant passing through: a partner sharing the same goal, the same risk, and the same standard for the finished product.

02 Our parent

A company of beQ Entertainment.

YiQi is the China-based culture and media arm of beQ Entertainment. That lineage gives us a creative, IP-first way of thinking, and a direct line back to the Western studios, broadcasters and brand owners we exist to serve.

It means we don't treat a property as a product to be churned out. We treat it as value to be developed, protected and carried carefully into the market. It is also why we produce our own originals, like the animated series Jack The Red.

03 Our own IP

We don't only produce IP. We create it.

Jack The Red is our original animated series, co-produced with China's Mapple Toon: European storytelling, produced on the ground in Guangdong. What you see here are early previews.
The real characters will be unveiled at ACTIF 2026 in Dongguan in August.

04 Where we are

In Foshan, at the heart of the art toy & collectible ecosystem.

Our office sits in Shiwan, Chancheng District, with practical proximity to Dongguan, the manufacturing capital of the global art toy industry, and to the logistics and export infrastructure of the Pearl River Delta. It is one of the few places on earth where concept, prototype and controlled production can move within a single short drive.

An executive producer and operations leader with over 30 years across animation, VFX, advertising and high-end audiovisual production. He builds cross-border production strategies and partnerships between Europe and Asia, pairing creative ambition with operational structure, technical oversight and delivery discipline.
